These offerings are rooted in mindful movement and choice, honouring that every body has its own rhythm, needs, and history. Whether seated in a chair or resting on a mat, these practices are an invitation to stretch with ease, breathe deeply, and connect inward.
For aging bodies, yoga offers more than movement—it supports balance, steadiness, rest, and the deep remembering that we are enough just as we are.

Types of Gentle Yoga I offer;

Gentle Yoga
Our gentle yoga class for seniors are a soft landing place to stretch, breathe and restore in community. Whether in a chair or a mat I offer supportive movements, grounding breath work and space to simply be - no flexibility or yoga experience required. Classes designed for aging bodies but suitable for all ages desiring a slower, gentle practice (Ability to lay down and stand up on own is required)

Adapted Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is a grounded, accessible class for those who prefer or require seated movement. Using a sturdy chair for support, we explore breathwork, gentle stretching, and mindful mobility. These classes support joint health, balance, circulation, and nervous system regulation—all in a format that honours the lived experience of aging bodies. No experience is needed. Just come as you are. During Adapted chair 1/3 of class is standing using the chair and body for support and balance.

Yin & Bliss Yoga
Yin and Bliss are slow, spacious classes focused on deep rest, gentle stillness, and nervous system nourishment. Yin invites you to soften into supported shapes and stay a while, while Bliss leans into restorative postures, breathe, and quiet. These offerings are a balm in a go-go world—inviting you to slow down, tune in, and gently unwind. Perfect for those seeking rest, recovery, or simply a pause.

I'm always on the go but see below where you can catch me on a weekly basis in the Valley for Gentle Yoga practices. Classes at Sardis Senior Activity Centre is for those 50+, and Evergreen Hall is for those 55+ in our community. Classes at Inner Vision Yoga and Land Cafe & Studio are for all ages and for every class I offer, no previous yoga experience is required.
